Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy conducted a visit to address Ukrainian forces in the Pokrovsk area on Tuesday. Zelenskyy announced that he engaged with warriors at the operational headquarters of the initial brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya zone, a town approximately a short distance from the city.
Recent mapping from a local initiative revealed that invading troops had advanced deeper into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though much of it remained beyond firm control by any party. The conditions are severe, with updates indicating that invading units were fortifying positions and enhancing fortifications in various sectors.
Russian forces continue to advance in the Pokrovsk front and are reportedly acting with growing ease within the city proper.
Analysts observed that defense units had liberated a significant portion of a Russian penetration in the Dobropillya direction, on the eastern flank of the Pokrovsk operation.
Kyiv's aerial vehicles struck a factory approximately over 800 miles inside the federation at the location. City administration announced a detonation at the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant that resulted in structural damage to partially collapse, adding that the origin of the detonation was undetermined. The Ukrainian military general staff stated there was considerable damage to the facility.
National forces reported hitting a fuel processing plant at the location in the federal district east of Moscow. The extent of the damage was being assessed. The local official acknowledged a strike by 20 drones near the area.
