Ismailer stated that the developers is now reimagining Project Ethos with a renewed focus, aiming to satisfy gamer demands.

The news echoes a similar move taken by the publisher in the summer, when they brought on an industry veteran from the Diablo team to work on the beloved franchise development group.

Through your commitment and versatility, particularly over the last year, you continue to prove that.

The gamer responses from last fall’s Project ETHOS playtest was informative. It validated the appeal of a action-packed game but told us we still had work to do. It highlighted the requirement for a clearer identity.

The progress is encouraging to see how far you’ve come. You took the feedback to consideration and revamped the title with a revitalized direction - one that’s ready to deliver on its potential to our fans.

The trust in this project strengthens every day. To boost the remarkable progress you’ve made, I am thrilled to announce Ben Brinkman as the incoming Lead of the team. After a period of discussions, Ben comes aboard us on Monday, October 20.

Ben’s guidance and expertise in the PVP shooter field is vast, having devoted the past decade and a half creating and overseeing some of the most recognizable titles in the industry, for example Call of Duty: Black Ops, and most recently, Apex Legends.
