Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
